Training allocations for offices

Each ministry, agency or office of the Bangsamoro Government can receive a yearly allocation of places in DAB's trainings.

There is no billing: the allocation sets how many of the office's employees DAB expects in each training or programme that year.

Why Plan Your Office's Training

The Bangsamoro Civil Service Code sets how much training each employee takes in a year.

  • Every employee

At least one planned development intervention a year.

  • Supervisors and division chiefs

40 hours of training a year.

  • Executive and managerial staff

120 hours of training a year.

  • New employees

DAB's Mandatory Onboarding Training within the probationary period, or DAB's executive coaching for managerial staff.

How It Works

  1. Step 1: DAB sets the allocation

DAB sets the office's allocation of places for the year.

  2. Step 2: Your office nominates

The office's human resources staff nominate employees against it.

  3. Step 3: DAB decides

DAB accepts, waitlists or declines each nomination and says why.

  4. Step 4: Your office follows up

The office follows its employees' attendance, certificates and training hours on the portal.

The allocation counts places, not money: nothing is bought, billed or invoiced.

What Your Office Follows on the Portal

  • the office's allocation of places for the year
  • each nomination, and whether DAB accepted, waitlisted or declined it
  • DAB's reason for each decision
  • the employees' attendance
  • their certificates
  • their training hours
